I started boxing when I was freshman in college.
I had never fought before.
I had never hit or been hit by anyone.
So why did I start?
My father is a former professional boxer known as the "Rocky of Naniwa*". I have always felt uncomfortable being compared to him, and so I never stepped into the ring. However, I have now decided to become a boxer. When I reconsidered my future and career, I thought to myself, "I need to step out of my comfort zone to test my potential and to know my true passion, purpose, and power."
I lost in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics trial.
In 2021, I turned professional.
I want to fight to become stronger, both physically and mentally, and to do my best to express myself honestly and completely.
